The cherry tree in front of my house began to bloom.
After 4/4*, will we be able to have a Hanami party**?
If the blossoms scattered, would they go North?

Athletic meet [03 Mar 2006|02:57am]

Finally... the athletic meet. My muscles are groaning.

I think I will watch out for pulled muscles... and sleep...

[Note Instead of aligning a picture next to diary entries, I've decided to just use an icon of the member who is writing the entry. So, for example, this is Shin's entry. :) For Photo Diary entries I have an icon of the entire band. Thank you loooots to urei for the scans. ♥]

I'll skip apologising profusely for being a bad owner and instead update quickly with some things you want to read much more. They're not diary entries of the members, but of the photo diary:

February 23rdCollapse )

I may have to turn this into just a photo diary translation to be able to keep it updated. :x

Bass lessons! [18 Nov 2005|11:16pm]

Nao writes:

Today I recorded the fourth bass lesson video. I was very surprised with Misaki and Saeko's improvement from their homework. Did Misaki and Saeko practice hard on the things I pointed out? You did your best! Today was the last practice for them, and I want them to come to the final examination with confidence! Don't pay attention to your doubts! If you don't give up, you're always good! If you continue to play your bass and enjoy it, I will be happy! I'm getting a little lonely... Well then, students, ladies and gentlemen! (All four of you.) I'll see you at the final examination! This was your instructor!

*hides face for never updating* ;~;

In 22 days, GENE will be finished and leave. I want to make it a live we don't regret. However, the Hall was strange~ I feel strained in the Hall compared to the Live House, but the Hall has hidden potential. But I want some more like this. I thought up an idea in my spare time!!

I don't know what "GENE" is, Izumi used the katakana, "ゲネ".

Returning Home... [17 Aug 2005|05:33am]

Shin writes:

I went home a while ago. Two things were closed early. How was it? Since it was my first time playing in the halls in Osaka and Nagoya, I thought it would be different. I thought about it a lot. I played koto for the first time, and had to balance it with my guitars. Honestly, it was hard.

"If there isn't a sound, What should I do? If I can't play the guitar right?" That I could perform these things correctly was the most important thing. I think I will prepare some more before the final. The people that came to the live, the people that cooperated, thank you very much.

It seems that there was also a big earthquake. I was on the highway when it happened... is everything okay?

I only recognise the "中イカス", and "稲", which I think means rice, but...wth? Anyone have any suggestions?)

Every day has been intense heat. You can't go outside with sleeves at all. Are you all eating Halo Halo*, too? Mini Stops. They're so nice~

*From what I gather from the wonderful resource that is Google, Halo Halo is shaved ice with fruit and ice cream (Thank you to vulgar_shudder) sold at somewhat of an am pm-type store, which is the Mini-stop he is talking about. Anyone from Japan have a better explination?

Tadaima... how appropriate! [05 Aug 2005|07:20pm]

Okay, funny story.

Five months ago I discontinued this community for two reasons.

1: It was a part of my site, and I thought that having to have a livejournal account might not be fair for some visitors.
2: I thought it would be easier to update the entries from my site.

Both of these have proved to be wrong. Pretty much everyone and their mother has a livejournal anyway, and even if they don't, if I take it off friends only it won't be a problem. It's actually been harder to update from my site: It's had many host problems and sometimes I just plain feel too lazy to code HTML. It has made me not want to keep it up, as opposed to this community, which motivated me.

So, I'm opening it back up and will start updating again. I'm surprised to see the amount of members it still has, and flattered. :)

(I won't be opening kagrranews though, as that is much easier to update from my site, and it didn't have as many followers anyway. I'm all about the laziness. This may change in the future.)

To celebrate, I bring you Nao's latest (adorable) entry:

Nao posted on August 5, 2005 @ 2:02 PM:

Iyaa~ It's hot! It was hot in Nagoya, but it's even hotter in Tokyo! Ah, I forgot what I was going to say. I'm home!

Oh, and, now a more Kagrra-ish layout.

[ mood | thankful ]

Hello, everyone!

{I apologise if you see this twice, but I had to post it to both of the communities.}

I have both good news and bad news. Let's do the bad news first.

I will no longer be updating this journal. I will keep them up for archiving purposes, {With so much work done, it would be a shame to delete it} but I will no longer make new entries.

However, the good news is that I will still be translating news and diary entries for Kagrra,. My site, Hanakotoba has been down for a few months due to some technical problems, but I have purchased hanakotoba.org and will be using it for my site. As of right now it is still going through it's propagation period, but it should be up within the next few days. {If you have anything you'd like to submit for it {tori@hanakotoba.org}, I'd be grateful too!}

Translations will most likely no longer be daily; probably more like every couple of days I will update with what has happened since the last update. I apologize, as I know reading them on your friends page was a bit more convenient. I just don't have time for all of this like I used to, {I recently got a job} but I would really like to keep my site.

Most importantly: Thank you to all of you for your encouragement and comments, they really meant a lot to me. ♥
